Restaurant design ideas
Preview the dining room you have, not a television set. Paint, lighting, and how the tables sit are the usual first pass. Structural work is a later conversation with a contractor.

Look at the room before the shell
Warmer light, a calmer wall colour, plants, and tables pulled off the path from the door. A menu box or a clear window helps the front.
The concept does not price the work
There are no cost figures here. Ask local contractors for numbers once you know which changes you want.
Compare it with tonight’s room
Put the concept next to your photo. If the dining room is no longer yours, do not use that image.
Redesign checklist
- Budget level: low = paint, lamp shades, table settings; medium = banquettes, wall finish; high = new lighting and floor.
- Materials: hard-wearing floor, sound-absorbing ceiling or wall panels, stain-resistant fabric.
- Lighting: dimmable warm light over tables; brighter at the host stand.
- Keep server routes from kitchen to tables clear.
